Empowering the Elderly and Widows: AACCF Brings Relief and Support to Imobalufon and Isiwo Communities”

Posted on October 8th, 2022

True to her guiding philosophy, “True life is lived when tiny changes occur,” Mrs. Adeola Azeez, through Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation, took meaningful steps to uplift the widows and elderly of Imobalufon and Isiwo communities. Demonstrating her commitment to social responsibility, Mrs. Azeez personally extended financial aid and essential relief items to these vulnerable groups, ensuring they felt valued and supported.

On July 30th, 2022, Mrs. Azeez and her team visited Isiwo community, distributing much-needed relief supplies to the elderly and widows. Later, on September 4th, 2022, she visited Imobalufon to do the same. These actions were sparked by the concern of the women’s leader in each community, who brought the situation to Mrs. Azeez’s attention. A firm believer in the power of listening, Mrs. Azeez responded promptly to their needs.

Her intervention went beyond material support. Mrs. Azeez emphasized the importance of including widows and the elderly in societal decision-making, reminding them that they are vital members of the community who deserve constant care, respect, and consideration. This initiative stands as a testament to her dedication to improving lives through compassion, empowerment, and social inclusion.
