Bridging the Digital Divide: AACCF Commissions Fully-Equipped Tech Hub at Emmanuel Anglican Primary School

On 19th January 2026, the Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation (AACCF) officially commissioned a fully equipped ₦30 Million Tech Hub at Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Italupe.

This project bridges the digital divide by providing practical ICT infrastructure to pupils in a public primary school, moving beyond theoretical learning to hands-on digital literacy.

The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 (Quality Education)SDG 5 (Gender Equality)SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure)SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)

Project Objectives

The Tech Hub was established to:

  • Deliver practical ICT learning infrastructure for primary school pupils
  • Improve foundational digital literacy skills
  • Equip teachers with modern instructional tools
  • Bridge the rural-urban technology gap
  • Strengthen public-private partnerships in education
  • Create a scalable model for replication in other public schools across Ogun State

What Was Delivered

Infrastructure Development

  • Complete renovation and refurbishment of a dedicated classroom
  • Interior finishing, painting, and secure doors & windows
  • Electrical fittings and power optimization

Technology Deployment

  • Installation of desktop computer systems
  • Licensed software
  • Structured learning layout
  • Internet connectivity setup

The project was implemented with the approval and collaboration of the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
